About
Join Beyond Category Collective for “Harmony in Hybridity: A Cross-Genre Workshop,” a hands-on online experience for musicians, singers, producers, and curious listeners who want to create music beyond labels. You’ll learn how to fuse Scottish folk sensibilities, Hindustani vocal tradition, Qawwali energy, Western classical craft, and jazz language into one honest sonic conversation. Across two focused learning units, you’ll build a small hybrid piece from rhythm and melody choices to arrangement and modern production techniques. By the end, you’ll leave with a practical framework, a short demo (or live-ready sketch), and a collaborative mindset rooted in ego-free learning, social awareness, and experimentation—ready to share in performances, classes, or your next release.
